The senior citizens of the assisted living facility Senior citizens' residence Am Krökentor The group jointly undertook an excursion to the Klaistow asparagus farm. There, a special asparagus buffet awaited them, featuring numerous regional specialities, from asparagus cream soup and Beelitz asparagus salad to asparagus tarte flambée.
Afterwards, there was time to explore the adventure farm. While some seniors strolled through the wildlife enclosure, others visited the chicken mobile or browsed the farm shop and decoration barn for regional products and small souvenirs.
The day trip was accompanied by Ute Lenski from the assisted living team.
„It was a lovely day together with wonderful weather and delicious food,“ reports Katharina Kaulfuß, Head of Assisted Living.
The day trip offered the tenants an opportunity to spend time together and enjoy the spring in good company.
