For young people between the ages of 16 and 27, the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) is exactly the right thing the right thing. Anyone over the age of 27 can learn a lot for life as a Federal Volunteer Service (BfD) volunteer. A great opportunity for school leavers, job seekers, retirees and anyone looking for a new direction.

You love elderly care – but the challenges too?
You can build a career within the company at ProCurand. Do you have a strong desire to pass on your knowledge? Then become a practical trainer. The first cohort of the "Practical Trainer" campus program completed their training in May 2021 and are already passing on their newly acquired knowledge to the next generation in our senior care facilities, in both residential and outpatient care.
Would you like an additional qualification as a wound or hygiene officer? We will train you further. Become a residential area or care service manager, naturally on a part-time basis. Or take the plunge into training again and become a part-time nursing specialist.

You want to make a career - we offer the opportunities!
After nine years as a care assistant, I realised that I was no longer getting anywhere, despite my further training as an incontinence and safety officer. I did a lot more than a traditional care assistant, for example training new colleagues. That's why I've been doing the generalist training to become a full-time care specialist since September 2020. My facility management believed in me and supported me, for which I am very grateful. It was also great that one of the advisors from the ProCurand Campus took care of funding through the job centre so that I don't have any financial losses during the three years of training. Other trainees don't have that! The residents are sometimes a little irritated because I no longer work alone. But it's great that I can now take the time to chat to them in more detail, which was often not possible as a care assistant.
