Summer, sunshine and the smell of barbecue: At the request of the day guests, this took place in Day care Eberswalde A communal barbecue afternoon took place. Instead of the regular lunch, the colleagues moved the meal outdoors. The day guests helped with the preparations in the morning and, together with the care team, prepared a Mediterranean pasta salad with basil pesto. Building technician Silvio took charge of the barbecue and diligently grilled sausages. In excellent summer weather, everyone enjoyed the sausages, potato salad, and homemade pasta salad. Eating outdoors led to good conversations. „The idea for the barbecue came directly from our day guests. It was all the nicer to fulfil this wish together,“ enthused a carer.
