The seniors followed a re-enacted phone scene with great interest. „Astonishing and shocking at the same time, how real and authentic it sounds,“ commented resident Roswita Geyer aptly. The Barnim police officer gave many helpful tips, including on data protection. Many of the seniors were surprised at how easily tricksters got hold of their landline numbers. To conclude, Dajana Rex-Thon handed out small police desk stands that can be placed directly by the phone to remind people of the tricksters' scams.
