In the Procurand Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee Carnival was celebrated with gusto. Following the motto „It doesn't always have to be Cologne“, all residents in their colourful costumes were greeted with great applause. A varied programme provided entertainment. Three dance groups and live music with Olli got the hall rocking. A special highlight was the men's ballet in tutus, which provided much laughter and encouraged everyone to dance along. During the duck dance by the Lebensbegleitung team, hands, legs and hips were swung. Later, a cheerful conga line went through the hall, while the most creative costumes were admired and awarded prizes.
To round off the event, the Sparkle Maidens delighted with acrobatic dances. There was also a culinary highlight. Pancakes and lovingly prepared carnival platters invited guests to indulge and rounded off the colourful festival in a delicious way.
