Valentine's Day at the ProCurand nursing home Pfarrer Lukas

22.08.2025

At ProCurand Nursing home Pfarrer Lukas This year's Valentine's Day was themed: It's lovely that you exist! In Cham this year, there were no classic Valentine's roses that quickly wilt and are thrown away. Every single resident received a cute teddy bear to cuddle and cherish, along with delicate, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate hearts. "The teddies were so well-received; some residents even cried with joy. One said she'd been with us for so long but had never experienced anything so wonderful. That obviously made me and the team incredibly happy," says Nicole Roith, Head of Social Support. Many immediately thought of names for their little bears: Hias (Bavarian for Matthias), Wastl, Seppl, Beppo, Balu, Bazi, and Hansi, to name but a few. It was an all-around successful, sustainable Valentine's surprise, everyone agreed, and: Welcome to Cham, Hias, Wastl, Sepp, and others!
