In the ProCurand Senftenberg retirement home Easter was really busy: First, Easter eggs were coloured together, then the great team celebrated an Easter party with the residents, complete with live music and the popular DJ Bernd Schwertfeger. Another highlight was the visit from the Hirschfeld Easter Bunny, Dieter Melzer. Probably the longest-serving Easter Bunny in Brandenburg, he has been travelling through South Brandenburg for 55 years at Easter time, bringing gifts to children – or, as in our case, to seniors. "Everyone was thrilled, and many engaged in lively discussions about old customs and traditions. It's always fascinating how festivals are celebrated and observed differently from region to region," says facility manager Yvonne Skowronek. It was a great Easter, thank you!
