Easter toast in Cham - on Easter Monday, residents of ProCurand received Nursing home Pfarrer Lukas Traditionally, a small Advocaat in a wafer cup. This was so delicious that some people even licked the wafer cup clean. On Palm Sunday, pupils from the Fraunhofer Gymnasium Cham visited our facility as part of the "Young Meets Old" project. Together with the residents, they bound palm branches and painted eggs, which was great fun for young and old alike! "Our palm branches and eggs were blessed in our in-house service by Pastor Amberger; a heartfelt thank you for that," reports Nicole Roith, Head of Social Care. A huge thank you also goes to the Cham Senior Citizens' Council, who once again brought the residents baked Easter lambs (breads) this year, which were served for breakfast over the holidays. On Easter Sunday, everyone received an Easter nest, packed full of sweets. The residents were delighted and agreed: it was a lovely and delicious Easter celebration.
