In mid-March, a wave of influenza A hit the ProCurand Senior Citizens Centre Am Herzogsschloss firmly in hand. It was only through an incredibly fantastic team effort that everyone got through these nearly three weeks. There were employees who called the facility and offered their help. Others who were ill said: „Why do I have to get sick right now - I wanted to be there for you!“ Some were immediately willing to work as on-call staff for hours in every residential area during a shift. Others repeatedly strengthened their colleagues: „Do you know what I really like? Despite this crisis, we can still laugh and have fun!“
The management team was there for everyone and motivated them to give their best. Centre manager Martin J. Preuss simply didn't want to go home and preferred to stay with his team, while managing director Tanja Monski spontaneously paid a brief visit to encourage and support the team. That's appreciation and solidarity!
That's why the management team really wanted to say thank you to the colleagues for this great team effort. A staff brunch was organised with many delicacies such as schnitzel, meatballs, meat loaf, cheese, sausage and sweet spreads, sweet pastries, rolls, pretzels, salads and drinks. The kitchen team organised the buffet and the housekeeping colleagues lovingly decorated the tables. There was a lot of laughter and chatting. Even some people who were off work or on holiday came to the brunch.
That's how "together" works, absolutely wonderful dear colleagues, and thank you!
