Tulip festival in Dahme/Mark

25.04.2024

The ProCurand team Am Schlosspark retirement home recently celebrated a tulip festival in glorious sunshine. The dark season was long, so ProCurand Dahme took the first warm rays of sunshine and blooming flowers as an opportunity to celebrate spring! The care assistants had baked a delicious parrot cake, which was served with the coffee and was very well received by the residents. As a surprise, the Fläminger Trachtenverein came to the centre and danced for the residents. "It was the first time the traditional costume society had visited us and it went down really well. We are therefore delighted to welcome them back in mid-June for our big summer party! The contact came about through chance conversations, they are all really lovely and traditional people who were happy that the residents were very happy about the performance!" reports Mary-Anne Macke, Head of Care Services. The residents talked animatedly for a long time about the performance and the traditional costumes, which some of them knew from the past - great!
