What a great effort: the management team of the Procurand senior citizens' residence Am Schlosspark was on site for two days at the Niederlausitzer Leistungsschau, the largest open-air trade fair in Lower Lusatia. Small and medium-sized companies from the entire region traditionally present themselves at the well-attended trade fair. Jacqueline Werner, facility manager, Mary-Anne Macke, care service manager, Angelique Fiebeler, quality officer, Alice Lange, care manager and Karina Pitt, hotel manager, held lively discussions with visitors. On Saturday afternoon, Sandro Schmidt, residential area manager and practice supervisor, and Börn Rey, first-year trainee, joined them, and on Sunday Christiane Hönicke, receptionist, provided support. „We talked about apprenticeships. We also received enquiries for our service living and inpatient care, which was a colourful mix. There was even talk of changing employers, hopefully to us!“ says Mary-Anne Macke with a laugh. The Dahmers once again had a wheel of fortune and many visitors tried their luck to win the coveted main prize - the beautiful red ProCurand mug! But the consolation prizes, the giveaways, were also very popular. In some cases, a long queue formed in front of the stand and the colleagues had their hands full! Children were delighted with the balloons, jelly babies and sweets. The Dahmer's stock has now been used up and the whole region is now carrying around the ProCurand logo in some form or other!
Conclusion: It was a successful trade fair appearance in pleasant weather and the Dahme/Mark team had a lot of fun and will certainly be there again next year in Luckau!
