What does it take to grow so old and still be so sprightly? According to jubilarian Elfriede Richter, this: Good food, healthy sleep and having her beloved children around her frequently. Requirements that have been met since she moved into the ProCurand Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee are fulfilled. In addition to the children, the mayor Elke Stadeler, facility manager Janin Tiedemann and Karla Plieth, Head of Social Care, congratulated her on her special day of honour. By special request, Karla Plieth was able to persuade the recently founded singing group to give their first performance. Despite the excitement, the birthday serenade went very well. All the well-wishers happily joined in. The birthday girl was visibly moved. She hopes that she will be able to sing along with the others in the future, and ProCurand would also like to congratulate Elfriede Richter and wish her many more happy hours with her loved ones and the centenarians' club!
