Mondays have a reputation for not being the most exciting days of the week. But this is not true in the ProCurand Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence! In the Restaurant Vier Jahreszeiten a celebration took place last Monday, World Dance Day, which turned Monday into a real party! When the Alex Band performed and played atmospheric music for the residents and tenants, the restaurant became a concert hall. From ballads to rock'n'roll - the band had something for everyone. „And what did we do? We sang, danced and swayed like there was no tomorrow, of course!“ reports Denise Grytzka from Social Services with a laugh. One of the highlights of the afternoon was the birthday party for Klaus Richter. The team and guests celebrated him as if he were the king of Vier Jahreszeiten. „What made this afternoon so special was the energy and joy that was in the air. You could literally feel the worries of everyday life fade away. When the sun went down and we said our goodbyes, one thing above all remained: the feeling of being part of a community that knows how to live life. Even on Mondays,“ says Denise Grytzka.
