Recently, some residents of the ProCurand Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence together with two colleagues from the childcare team went on a trip to Forum Köpenick. Together, they strolled through the aisles of the shopping centre and were inspired by the wide range of products on offer. There are small boutiques and well-known chain shops and something to suit every taste. There were also plenty of breaks! In the Forum's cosy cafés, everyone enjoyed a cup of coffee and chatted about the latest acquisitions. Carers Karin Roterberg and Petra Schütze were always on hand to help the residents and make sure everyone had a wonderful day. For the residents, this day was a welcome change from everyday life in the senior residence. „Outings like this are a great opportunity to create shared memories and strengthen the bond within the senior residence,“ says Denise Grytzka, Social Services. And if a purchase or two makes the heart happy, then such days enrich life twice over!
