Day trip from Grebs to Warnemünde

11.07.2024

ProCurand Grebs went on a day trip to the Baltic Sea. House technician Percy Assmann drove the bus with the 7 residents of the Am Görnsee retirement home. Facility Manager Juliane Rogazewski followed in her car with accompanying persons. The weather was glorious, it was 30 degrees, the sky was blue and the water temperature inviting. Some residents had their feet in the water and a wheelchair user enjoyed burying her feet in the sand. "The residents had wished for the outing. Fulfilling their wishes, if possible, is the best part of our job," says Juliane Rogazewski, Facility Manager. For lunch, they went to a steakhouse, and as sea air is known to make you hungry, there was an ice cream to finish. For the residents who couldn't come along, fish rolls were taken back to Grebs. "It was a long day and everyone was exhausted, but very happy. It's certainly not the last time we'll go to the Baltic Sea together," promises Facility Manager Juliane Rogazewski. A new Grebs tradition, how lovely!
