First Summer Olympics in Sulzbach-Rosenberg

30.08.2024

The social care team from ProCurand Senior Citizens' Centre Am Herzogschloss in Sulzbach-Rosenberg recently organised a Summer Olympics. At four stations, 30 residents took part in a sporting competition, competing in table bowling, can throwing and ring and target throwing. Everyone took part with great joy and enthusiasm. As it was too hot outside for sporting activities, the Olympics took place indoors. At the end there was some brain training: the points scored were totalled by the residents. The winners were then announced at a festive awards ceremony. The first three places and the first in each residential area received a certificate and a medal. But even those who didn't make it onto the winners' podium weren't sad. Taking part was everything, even if winning is of course even better. This was certainly not the last Olympics in Sulzbach-Rosenberg. Great idea, dear colleagues!
