In summery temperatures, ProCurand Sulzbach-Rosenberg celebrated with around 70 residents in the garden of the Senior Citizens' Centre Am Herzogschloss a summer festival. For lunch, there was a barbecue with steaks, sausages, and a variety of salads. Afterwards, the residents could relax a little while the team prepared the coffee table. There was delicious strawberry cake, doughnuts (called "Krapfen" elsewhere), and pastries. The music was once again provided by the "House and Court Musicians" Dietrich & Co. The musicians have been coming to all the festivals at the home for 17 years and play hearty Bavarian folk music. Many residents sang along and swayed. A special guest for everyone's hearts at the summer festival was undoubtedly Klaus! The eagle owl, who came with animal keeper Bernhard Müller from the Kümmersbuch wildlife rescue centre, delighted everyone. Those who dared could pet the tame bird to their heart's content. Conclusion: It was a wonderful summer festival that all the residents – and the team too – enjoyed, great!
