In bright sunshine and pleasant temperatures, the tenants of ProCurand Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence with the steamer across the nearby Müggelsee. The deck offered enough space to sit together in a cosy atmosphere and enjoy the view and the fresh sea breeze. Lake Müggelsee was at its most beautiful on this day. The water glistened in the sunlight, the lush green of the surrounding forests stretched across the horizon and the blue sky was almost cloudless. There was a cheerful atmosphere on board, everyone got chatting and there was a lot of laughter. The steamer passed picturesque places on the shores of Lake Müggelsee and the captain told interesting stories about the region and the history of the lake. Time flew by and - as is so often the case on the water - everyone had the feeling that everyday life was miles away. "We will all remember this steamboat trip on Lake Müggelsee for a long time to come. Not only did it make a wonderful summer's day perfect, it also strengthened our sense of togetherness and gave us all a well-earned break from everyday life," reports Denise Grytzka from Social Services.
