As delicious as a cake baker: the ProCurand social care team Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence also provides a variety of activities in the dementia area. Recently, a care worker organised a small baking session together with the kitchen team. Apples were cut, dough was kneaded and sprinkles were spread on the cake. The residents received detailed instructions and loving support. Snacking was the highlight for most of them. It was just like the old days! As children, many were always allowed to lick the bowl. Baking also brought back some childhood memories. The sheet cake was enjoyed by everyone present and baking will be included more often in the childcare programme in future.
