The dementia area at ProCurand Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence are lucky enough to have a garden to themselves, which they lovingly look after. The plants in the dementia garden naturally need to be tended, especially in summer temperatures. Our carer Petra Schütze motivates the residents to do this every day. They help as much as they can with the care and maintenance of the beautiful green space.
The garden is used almost every day in spring, summer and autumn. Be it for short walks, a chat on a park bench or coffee and games on the terrace. At the beginning of September, there was once again a major effort to maintain the flower beds, with many residents helping out diligently. After the gardening work was done, some of them took a break in the sun with an interesting book and a refreshing juice. The team from the Müggelpark residential area would like to say thank you for taking care of the greenery!
