Once again this year, the ProCurand team celebrated Senior citizens' residence Am Görnsee a baking oven festival. It was already the third - traditions are cherished in Grebs! White bread, wholemeal and mixed breads were baked in the facility's stone oven using bread baking mixes.
The freshly baked bread was accompanied by delicious lard and pickled gherkins. Although a lard sandwich is a simple meal, it went down extremely well. This year, the residents also requested pizza for dinner, topped with ham and pineapple (Pizza Hawaii), salami or mushrooms. Federweißer and punch were served to go with it. „Everyone was satisfied, full and happy, it was a very nice afternoon,“ says facility manager Juliane Rogazewski.
