Recently, some pupils from the Coda music school in Halle gave a concert for the tenants of ProCurand Residence Am Hallorenring. The idea of cooperating with the music school arose during the search for a musical act for the opening ceremony of the residence. „Our tenants are very interested in music and the students have the opportunity to present what they have learnt and rehearsed in front of an audience. So it's a win-win situation for both sides,“ reports Melanie End, Residence Manager.
30 tenants attended the concert. The pupils„ programme consisted of classical and more modern pieces. Some of them hummed along to the best-known songs, such as the film theme from “The Fabulous World of Amélie". The concert was so well received that further musical projects are being planned at the residence. There is currently the idea of founding a residence choir, which is the wish of two tenants who enjoy singing - we will report back!
