Recently, the residents and tenants of the ProCurand Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence to the Oktoberfest season. Around 60 people came together in the day room, which was decorated in Bavarian blue and white, to celebrate a proper Oktoberfest together. Although there was no beer on tap and therefore no „O‘ zapft is“, original Oktoberfest beer was served instead. The imaginative kitchen team provided everyone with pretzels and sandwiches and delicious Bavarian-style platters.
The artist Remmi von Demmi played swaying music and had his audience firmly in his grip after a short time. They sang along loudly and swayed extensively. Music requests such as „Lebt denn der alte Holzmichl noch“ were also fulfilled immediately. With his accordion and his colourful suit, he elicited many a smile, and not just from the ladies. The usual marquee toasts were also a must to keep the mood high. After almost 2 hours of pure entertainment, everyone was exhausted but very satisfied. Remmi von Demmi received many words of thanks and everyone is already looking forward to his next visit.
