Long may she live, our 101-year-old jubilarian Elfriede Matern, who lives in the ProCurand Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee lives. Together with the mayor of Strausberg, Elke Stadeler, the team and facility manager Janin Tiedemann congratulated her. Her son provided the well-wishers with champagne and they toasted. Elfriede Stadeler was pleased with the small circle of well-wishers and recounted that she had recently almost received a date offer in the optician's waiting room. The gentleman estimated her to be considerably younger. "Age doesn't protect against love, but this man was simply too young for Elfriede," reports facility manager Janin Tiedemann, laughing.
