Trainee Days 2024 in Halle

The ProCurand trainee days took place in Halle in 2024. 28 trainees from various ProCurand locations came together to train, exchange ideas and gain practical experience. The event featured a diverse mix of workshops and practical exercises that were not only instructive but also incredibly fun. One of the highlights was practising with a hoist, where participants practised and improved their skills in the safe use of care aids. Another important topic was the donning and doffing of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent MRSA infections. The correct use of PPE was trained in a practical exercise to protect against multi-resistant germs such as MRSA and to ensure safe handling in nursing practice. The workshop on peer counselling was also very well received by the trainees. In small groups, they shared their experiences, exchanged views on the challenges they face in their day-to-day work and developed solutions together. Another item on the programme was the Heiwasch bed shower exercise, in which the trainees learnt the technique of washing hair in bed. To round off the trainee days, a joint event cooking session was held in the evening in the company's own central kitchen, which exceeded all expectations. The trainees not only had the opportunity to put their culinary skills to the test, but also to work together in a relaxed, creative environment. Cooking together was great fun, strengthened team spirit and provided a successful and unforgettable finale. The trainee days were once again a complete success this year!
