First Christmas market at ProCurand Havelpalais retirement homeThe colleagues lovingly planned and organised the first in-house Christmas market with the support of all departments. The entire ground floor and the garden shone in festive splendour, and small sales stands invited visitors to browse.
There was grilled sausage, kettle goulash, home-baked waffles, mulled wine and lots of treats from the cafeteria. Kitchen manager Ralf Dumack spoilt the guests with delicious apple strudel. Father Christmas, played by a colleague, handed out biscuits. There was even dancing. All relatives, residents and tenants were warmly invited and turned up in large numbers. The response to the Christmas market was so overwhelming that a repeat next year has already been decided.
