Residents, tenants from the ProCurand serviced apartments Senftenberg retirement home and employees came together to enjoy the Christmas season in a festive atmosphere. A solo entertainer created a contemplative mood with Christmas sounds. A very special moment was when the residents sang the song „Leise rieselt der Schnee“ (The snow is falling softly). Although there was no snow outside, everyone sang along enthusiastically and created an unforgettable atmosphere. In her speech, facility manager Yvonne Skowronek emphasised the importance of community at Christmas time.
Of course, Father Christmas, accompanied by his Christmas angel, also dropped by on this day and handed out presents. During a cosy coffee break, there were delicious pastries, which were lovingly baked by the everyday care assistants and the residents. The crowning glory was a traditional Christmas dinner: succulent duck with red cabbage and dumplings - a real treat!
