Instead of firecrackers, our team handed out glow sticks to all residents, which our seniors transformed into creative bracelets and necklaces, or used to decorate their rooms with the radiant display. „Some were so enthusiastic that they even placed their unbent glow sticks in vases to enjoy them for longer and to dream,“ reveals Nicole Roith, Head of Social Services. Of course, a glass of punch and delicious, festively arranged New Year's Eve platters were also a must.
On New Year's Day, our residents in Cham, dressed as good luck charms, roamed the building. Four-leaf clovers and chimney sweeps wished everyone a happy new year and distributed small New Year's greetings. This is a lovely tradition in Cham and is always very well received.
