In the ProCurand Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee more than 50 residents and tenants gathered on the last day of 2024 to start the new year together. The restaurant was lovingly decorated. Karla Plieth, Head of Social Care, opened the celebrations with a hearty toast and a glass of sparkling wine. The atmospheric live music from the Alex Band created a wonderful atmosphere.
The centre's kitchen once again outdid itself with delicious solyanka and finger food creations (New Year's Eve 2024 plate), traditional delicacies and New Year's Eve pancakes. There was something for all tastes! There was cheerful dancing before and after midnight.
A polonaise marched through the hall. Many left their walking frames and canes behind and danced the night away. The time flew by. Everyone loudly counted down the last seconds of the old year and greeted the new year with a hearty toast to 2025. „The view over Lake Straussee with the New Year's Eve fireworks was unique. This magical moment rounded off the evening perfectly and gave us all an optimistic and joyful start to 2025,“ says Karla Plieth.
