At the beginning of February 2025, member of the Bundestag Tina Winklmann (Greens) visited ProCurand St Ulrich nursing home in Lam. It was not her first visit, as she has visited our facilities in Cham and Lam repeatedly in recent years. Facility manager Nicole Marchl reported on the wide range of care services for the residents. The topics of leasing and the deployment of international specialists were also discussed. Everyone agreed that open borders and a welcoming culture are particularly important for care. Without international specialists, hardly any of our facilities would still function. „We also talked about the worries and needs of people whose pensions are not sufficient to pay for their own care costs. We wanted to make it clear that we want to welcome all people and at the same time are dependent on refinancing care costs,“ says Nicole Marchl.
