In the ProCurand Senftenberg retirement home Women's Day was also celebrated this year together with the residents and tenants. The afternoon began with a convivial coffee party, where the women chatted to each other over coffee and delicious eggnog cake. Sparkling wine was served to celebrate the day in style. As a gesture of thanks and appreciation, each of the tenants from the serviced apartments was presented with a rose by a tenant! The care residents received a lovingly designed heart-shaped pendant made of salt dough and a Lindt chocolate heart as a small gift. Everyone was delighted.
Team Senftenberg had also put together a wellness programme. All the women were able to have their fingernails painted and/or enjoy relaxing back and head massages. „These little time-outs provided soothing relaxation and contributed to the all-round pleasant atmosphere,“ says Ricarda Thieme, occupational therapist. At the end of the day, a letter of thanks was read out by the residents, in which they expressed their joy and gratitude for the wonderful day. „The day was an unforgettable experience for everyone,“ says Ricarda Thieme.
