DDR party in Bölschestraße

(N)Ostalgie made by ProCurand Friedrichshagen! The great ProCurand team Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence recently celebrated a DDR party at the Vier Jahreszeiten restaurant. Denise Grytzka from Social Services opened the party. She warmly welcomed all the guests and invited them to join her on a journey into the GDR past. One of the highlights of the evening was the fashion show, which was presented by Scarlett Tieke from the social services department. Models presented typical fashion trends from the GDR and brought back many a buried memory of times gone by. The surprise of the evening came from Marika Born, who slipped into the role of Helga Hannemann - known as „the little girl from Berlin“. She made the audience laugh with her performance and received a lot of applause. There was also an entertaining GDR quiz with GDR products to be won. Our residents had a lot of fun. A GDR party without the right food? Unthinkable! The guests were spoilt with delicacies from the GDR, including rollmops, stuffed eggs and cheese skewers - a real treat! „Thanks to our dedicated colleagues, the GDR party was an unforgettable experience. It was an evening full of joy, laughter and nostalgia that will live long in the memory,“ reports Denise Grytzka.
