Recently, the residents of the ProCurand Eberswalde senior citizens' residence something special was on offer: a carriage ride through the charming surroundings, through Lichterfelde and the Clara Zetkin Settlement in Eberswalde. First, the tenants from supported living set off on the hour-long journey. Afterwards, it was the turn of some residents from residential care. The carriage ambled cosily through the green countryside of Schorfheide, past meadows, small paths, and familiar streets. Food and drink were also provided: there was sparkling wine and chocolates, and those who wanted fortified themselves with a small glass of schnapps. The mood „on board“ was cheerful, with communal singing and lots of laughter. „The joy over the welcome change was palpable for everyone. Many expressed at the end the wish that the ride could have gone on even longer,“ reports facility manager Stefan Thieme. Conclusion: an all-round successful outing that will surely be remembered for a long time to come.
