In the ProCurand Havelpalais retirement home a fashion show followed by a sale of outerwear and underwear, jackets, bags, socks, nightwear and underwear took place again recently. This time, Claus Buchholz and his wife from „Modemobil - Mode, die zu Ihnen kommt“ presented the latest spring fashions - high-quality, chic and well-made. As with the winter edition, the Modemobil offers older people a comfortable shopping experience in familiar surroundings.
Birgit Pohlmann, formerly an administrative employee and now retired, volunteered as a model and helped with sales. Christian Seidel from the social care team was also on the catwalk for the first time. All of the models received a lot of applause - and rightly so. „People rummaged enthusiastically through the clothes rails. My team and I supported the residents who are no longer able to buy things on their own,“ says Marika Grosse, Head of Social Care. As the event was so well received, the fashion mobile will be back in autumn with the winter collection!
