Recently, the social care team from ProCurand Senior residence Havel Palace a new series of excursions Sporty excursions with a reward. For the first time, five residents went on foot to Potsdam city centre. The destination was the ice cream parlour on Luisenplatz, where there is a huge selection of delicious ice cream flavours. Despite the crowds in the city centre, the excursionists found a quiet spot and enjoyed a well-earned ice cream. Some opted for tropical fruit ice cream and others for classic chocolate ice cream. All the sundaes were empty in record time! Together, everyone watched people passing by and chatted animatedly.
After the tasty refreshment, we returned to the wine market, which is held for a short time in Potsdam next to the fountain. „People are all enjoying a glass of wine and we have to watch,“ commented Marika Große, Head of Social Care, with a smile. This made the residents laugh. Everyone thanked the care team for this successful outing. And as a consolation for those who had to stay in the facility: there will be a „trip to the city centre, the second one“ very soon.
