„Sport free“ was the motto at ProCurand in May Wriezener Straße in Strausberg! More than 40 tenants from the serviced accommodation responded to the call for the second sports festival at the centre. Once again, there was an obstacle course with four different stations where, among other things, dexterity and fine motor skills were required. The participants needed to be accurate when throwing cans and bowling. Speed was of the essence in the popular rollator rally! „Each of the tenants and all of the guests at the day care centre did a great job, depending on their physical abilities,“ says Annemarie Senzel proudly. Everyone had a lot of fun with the exercise and the competition.
For refreshment, there were tasty vitamin bombs at the fruit smoothie station, which were served with a lot of fun by the nursing service manager Mandy Hegert and Melina Dorn from the administration department.
Of course, a healthy lunch was also a must. The ProCurand kitchen team Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee conjured up a colourful fitness salad with fresh chicken strips. Everyone agreed that it was very tasty.
After the refreshments, the big award ceremony took place. In keeping with the motto: there are only winners at this event, the team handed out certificates and medals to everyone who had taken part. The winners were delighted to receive a trophy! The sporting event was so well received that there will certainly be a repeat, and everyone is already looking forward to it!
