In the ProCurand Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence the garden blooms and flourishes - a beautiful sight and a piece of quality of life that is enjoyed by residents and the team alike. Recently, two colleagues stood in front of a rhododendron bush in the garden and asked themselves: How do you actually look after it properly? They came up with the brilliant idea of asking Hannelore and Klaus Hartwig from Service Living for advice. The couple used to have a splendid garden. The idea was quickly born: perhaps the Hartwigs could sponsor the shrub? The couple didn't hesitate for long. It is a great pleasure for them to contribute their gardening experience, to look after the rhododendron and the roses in future - and thus help the garden at the facility to flourish.
Resident Christel Rambaum also took on a sponsorship - for the witch hazel tree. This tree was a gift to the residence, a thank you for the loving care of her late husband and a symbol of her love. It's a shame that plants can't speak, because they would certainly have a lot to tell in Bölschestraße - about carers, affection and the connection between people and nature.
