ProCurand is making two strong statements for environmental awareness and social commitment. Residence on Hallorenring from Halle. She is now actively participating in the „Lucky Corks“ collection campaign and the accompanying „Scrap with Heart“ event, initiated by the Heinrich Pera Hospice. Small corks – big impact: Crown corks are made of valuable tinplate and can be well recycled.
Yet, they often end up carelessly in the bin or out in nature. The residence wants to change this and is therefore committed to collecting bottle caps. Whether at parties, events, in shared flats, during a walk, or in everyday life: every donation counts! The bottle caps are then sent to Scholz Recycling. The proceeds from the scrap metal sale go directly as a donation to the hospice. An initial in-person meeting for mutual introduction already took place at our residence. Head of the outpatient hospice service Juliane Uhl, the initiator of the collection Robert Moser, and residence management Melanie End discussed the campaign and the initial experiences. Together, they developed many ideas for the future.
A beautiful outlook: „With the “Schrott mit Herz' (Scrap with Heart) charity drive, we are planning a small event at the Am Hallorenring residence, together with Juliane Uhl, to thank all our diligent helpers. And of course, to celebrate the success of the drive," Melanie End explains proudly. Furthermore, Juliane Uhl will give fascinating insights into hospice work in a short presentation.
