The Power Ladies from the ProCurand inpatient care programme Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee participated in the Muddy Angel Run. There they met mud angels from the Strausberg outpatient care service and from the ProCurand Seniorenresidenz Am Schlosspark in Dahme/Mark (as we reported). The obstacle race for women is not just about athletic competition, but about raising awareness and preventing breast cancer. One euro from every ticket and merchandise item sold is donated. The donations go to organisations dedicated to breast cancer research and awareness.
„This is how it's fun to do good. We got to wallow in the mud, throw foam, and conquer mud slides. In the end, everyone was wet and covered in mud, but happy,“ reports facility manager Janin Tiedemann. Her conclusion: We'll be back next year, will you?
