Falconer Achim Häfner was once again a guest at ProCurand Bölschestraße senior citizens' residence and brought along a whole host of his animal colleagues: his owls. The enthusiasm of the residents was clear to see. They listened with great interest to Achim's stories about the animals„ way of life. The falconer also talked about the behaviour and species-appropriate keeping of the owls. With his humorous manner, he quickly put everyone in a good mood. The residents laughed, marvelled and asked lots of questions. At the same time, Denise Grytzka from social services and residential area manager Anja visited those who were unable to attend the joint meeting with therapy owl Lilly. “Lilly sat quietly and calmly on her glove and the residents met her with awe and curiosity," said Denise. Many thanks to all those involved for this unique day - for people and animals!
