Theatre premiere in Cham

02.12.2025

At ProCurand Nursing home Pfarrer Lukas Cham was filled with a real theatrical atmosphere. One of the residents spent a lot of time in his home workshop. Day and night, he worked on his project: building his own puppet theatre. He designed the puppets and the stage – all from his own creativity. He also wrote the accompanying play, ‚Cham-City – The Stolen Pretzel‘, himself. The care team and students from the ‚Young Meets Old‘ project lent a hand. Together, they created a beautiful stage set. After much effort and hard work, the time finally came and the curtain opened. The residents gathered and experienced an exciting premiere of the play. The play was very well received. Everyone applauded loudly. „It was a successful premiere, the audience was thrilled,“ said Nicole Roith, Head of Social Care. Clearly, that calls for an encore! Hats off!
