Freshly baked bread, Schlager music and sociable hours: in the Senior citizens' residence Am Görnsee The traditional oven festival took place in Kloster Lehnin. Almost all the residents gathered around the oven and spent a pleasant afternoon together.
As the scent of freshly baked bread drifted across the site, schlager music provided the appropriate atmosphere. There was also plenty of culinary fare to enjoy: alongside Federweiser, sparkling wine, shandy, beer, and various soft drinks, meatballs, bratwursts, and lard bread with gherkins were served.
The festival was actively supported by daily companions Francis Graf, Jason Graf and Simone Karl, as well as by Percy Assmann, Louisa Nachtigall, Juliane Rogazewski and Dorit Rogazewski. Together they ensured a successful afternoon.
„It was lovely that so many residents gathered around our stone oven and enjoyed the afternoon together,“ reports Louisa Nachtigall from the administration.
A sociable oven festival, where eating together, music and good conversation took centre stage.
