The Kita Kinderparadies Nordend was once again visiting the Day care Eberswalde. This time, 15 preschool children took part in the joint reading morning. The children made themselves comfortable on floor cushions in front of the day guests and listened attentively.
The first story, „The Hare and the Hedgehog“, was read aloud by a day guest. Afterwards, a carer read the fairy tale „The Brave Little Tailor“. The children followed the tailor's three tasks with particular excitement.
In between, a short movement break provided some variety. Afterwards, drinks and snacks were handed out.
To conclude, the children and day guests shared thoughts on well-known fairy tales. Many of the children also knew stories like Rapunzel or Sleeping Beauty. They listened with particular interest when it was explained why Rapunzel is actually called Rapunzel.
The children said goodbye, looking forward to their next meeting and asking for more stories – and, of course, something to nibble on again.
