In the ProCurand Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee Approximately 40 old wool blankets were recently sorted out in Strausberg. The blankets came from residents in residential care. Since the wool blankets used in the facility must be suitable for laundry, a colourful assortment of sorted wool and other blankets was gathered. Jasmin Heldt, Head of Cleaning, had the idea to donate them to an animal shelter. The blankets are used there as bedding, and supplies are always needed. Employee Roger Szech took them to the animal shelter in Wesendahl, with whom there had already been contact. There, the joy was great among the two-legged and four-legged residents!
