Punctual at 08:00, our setup team – Nicole Vormum, Head of Nursing, Jamie Stankovic, Deputy Head of Nursing of the TAged care Eberswalde and Silvio Wolff, building services engineer for the Residence Nordend - make our way to the event location in Eberswalde. After a brief introduction from the City of Eberswalde, our stand at the Waldstadtfestival was set up and lovingly decorated in no time at all. Luckily, our great colleagues had already practised setting up the exhibition wall the day before!
At 10:30 AM, the Waldstadt Festival was officially opened, and from then on, numerous visitors explored the diverse offerings of the exhibitors. The absolute crowd-puller at our stand was – as expected – our ProCurand lucky wheel. Young and old alike enthusiastically spun the wheel. Everyone was delighted with the small prizes, and even the main prizes, such as our ProCurand lunchboxes, were very well received. Our fantastic colleagues handed out an incredible 550 lanyards, over 100 ProCurand hearts, and more than 250 promotional items and numerous information packs.
Many interesting and valuable conversations took place. Some visitors purposefully made their way to the ProCurand Eberswalde stand to ask questions about the local services, which our colleagues patiently answered. Numerous invitations to the next open day on 03/07/26 were extended and vouchers for coffee and cake were distributed. Everyone is eagerly anticipating how many of the vouchers will find their way back to the restaurant on the open day!
"Looking back, it can be said: almost all Eberswalde residents already know us – and after this Saturday, probably the last ones too," reports Annemarie Senzel, Residence Manager, with a laugh. She thanks everyone on the team who actively supported her for the day, either before or during, and especially for the delicious cake from the day care. "She is certain: "We'll be back next year!". Well done, dear colleagues!"
