Seniorenresidenz Senftenberg offers you or your relatives competent and individualised inpatient care around the clock. Our aim is to enable people in old age to lead as independent a life as possible - with the security of knowing that professional care is available at all times. Fixed caregivers, clear daily structures and appreciative support characterise everyday life in the residence. The senior citizens' residence is located directly on Lake Senftenberg. Well-kept outdoor facilities, a sunny terrace and the neighbouring lakeside promenade invite residents to exercise, take walks and relax. At the same time, the location is close to the town centre; shopping facilities, cafés and cultural attractions are all within easy reach.

At the Senftenberg senior citizens' residence, you will stay in comfortably furnished single and double rooms. A total of 68 rooms are available, which you can personalise with your own furniture and personal mementos if you wish. Terraces and outdoor areas with a view of Lake Senftenberg invite you to spend time outdoors. In addition, communal lounges as well as retreat and quiet areas are available at all times.

When the weather is fine, the sun terrace and outdoor areas invite residents to spend time outdoors. Retreats and quiet areas are available at all times. People with dementia are also well cared for and looked after in the Senftenberg senior citizens' residence.

How does admission to inpatient care work?

We usually start with a personal meeting in which we discuss the current situation, care needs and your wishes. We then clarify the formalities together (e.g. care level, documents, move-in date) and coordinate the move in so that it is as easy as possible for the resident.
We would be happy to advise you personally on the next steps.

What does inpatient care cost - and what does the care insurance fund cover?

The monthly costs depend on the level of care as well as the accommodation and catering. The care insurance fund contributes to the care costs depending on the level of care. We explain the remaining personal contribution and the services included transparently - including the costs that are covered by the care insurance fund.

Can I bring my own furniture and personal belongings?

Yes, the single rooms are furnished, but you can also add your own furniture. Personal items and mementos are expressly welcome - they help you to feel at home quickly.

What therapy and activity programmes are available?

We offer an activating programme - e.g. memory training, discussion and reading circles, gymnastics/fall prophylaxis as well as physiotherapy and occupational therapy in cooperation. The specific measures are individually tailored.
