In January, pupils from the neighbouring secondary school were once again at ProCurand Senior Citizens' Centre Am Herzogschloss Visiting. This is part of the ethics class. One time, a group from fifth, sixth, and seventh grade came, and another time, pupils from eighth, ninth, and tenth grade. The younger ones played board games with the residents, such as "Ludo" or "Memory". With the older ones, they played "Vertelekes", a question-and-answer game for older people. Questions about life and the past were acted out in mime, and songs had to be guessed. "Our residents are always happy when young people visit the home. The pupils were a bit reserved or shy at first, but then they also enjoyed playing together and there was much laughter," says Sonia Haubelt, Head of Social Services. Thanks to the Realschule and of course to the pupils for the stimulating afternoons. The residents are already looking forward to the next visits!
