Frequently asked questions about shared flats at the Nordend residence in Eberswalde (FAQ)

What is an assisted living community for senior citizens?

In an outpatient assisted living community, senior citizens live together independently and organise their everyday life together. Care and support are supplemented - as required - by an outpatient care service. This combines independence, community and security.

Who is the Residenz Nordend residential community suitable for?

The shared apartment is aimed at senior citizens with care level 2 or higher who value community, but still want their own flat and the opportunity to retreat. A willingness to live together in a respectful atmosphere is important.

How does moving into the shared flat work?

Before you move in, you will get to know your future flatmates. This is how we ensure that the community fits together well. You will then sign a tenancy agreement for your flat and a share of the communal areas.

Can relatives be involved?

Yes, relatives and friends are expressly welcome and can play an active role in the everyday life of the residential community - whether during visits, joint activities or in dialogue with the care team.
