At ProCurand things got rather animalistic: In the Day care Eberswalde ensured „Goose-Lisa“ and her two ducks Börni and Hannelore made for a very special morning.
Lisa Soupé, also known as „the goose Lisa“, brought along her Muscovy duck Börni and her runner duck Hannelore. The two feathered guests received plenty of strokes and cuddles and were treated to some delicious bananas. Things got particularly exciting during the duck bath, where the day guests were able to observe all sorts of things.
For some of the guests, the animal visit also stirred up memories of earlier times. They talked about their own experiences with ducks and shared personal stories with one another.
„Our senior citizens can hardly wait for the next visit from the ducks,“ reports Nicole Vormum, Director of Nursing. And one thing was quickly clear to everyone: they would gladly welcome such a visit again.
