A resident of Seniors' Residence Bölschestraße in Berlin-Friedrichshagen had a special wish: he wanted to experience Ray Wilson live. But tickets for the concert were already sold out and a companion had to be found as well.
Ines Bölke from reception was aware of the resident's wish and promptly took action. She managed to get tickets and offered to accompany him to the concert in person.
In mid-August the time had finally come: together, the two of them attended Ray Wilson's concert at the Freiluftkino Union in Berlin-Friedrichshagen. The anticipation was especially high, because for a long time it had not been certain whether the concert visit would actually be possible.
The resident's verdict after the concert left no doubt that the effort had been worth it: „I'm still so intoxicated by the concert. It was awesome. Mega awesome!“
Attending the concert turned into a special experience and shows how attentiveness, personal dedication and a good sense of community can be used to fulfil the individual wishes of residents.
